A three-day unique event that brings all people together, young and old generations, preserves tradition and turn the central park, during the weekend into a big home where it looks like everybody’s grandmother’s home. Since it’s basically about grandmothers sharing their baking and cooking skills, people will gather to eat from granny’s hands, laugh and spend time with each other. Nona Day aims to bring dialogue between generations instead of the growing gap between old and young in these times of increasing anonymisation in urban everyday life.

Music and Poetry under “the stars” will be one day event located in the city of Permet, a cultural event, in honor of prominent figures and personalities from Permet as well as an event that offer a lot of entertainments.

Përmet Outdoor Festival is a 3-4 days event, organized in pre-season focusing on outdoor sports and activities for recreational but also for professional sportsmen. The Festival of St. Pandelimon is held annually on July 26. This holiday is organized by the Orthodox community in the village of Kanikol. The celebration is attended by residents of the area of Çarshova and Petran — Orthodox and Muslim and Bektashi. The holiday is accompanied by religious rites, songs, dances, and banquets with traditional dishes.

On May 14, the Bektashi community organizes in the tekke of the village Alipostivan, a yearly celebration which gathers people from all over the country. A banquet is organized in honor of the Father of the Tekkee. In the same municipality, in the village of Kosina, the feast of Saint Mary of Kosina is celebrated by the Orthodox community, where many believers from the municipalities of Piskovë, Petran, Këlcyrë and Përmet participate.
